A very difficult decision, but I have come to the conclusion that Sineris still has an advantage in this match. The only thing that can change my opinion is if he has played poorly against Dimitrov, where it seemed that Sineris was helpless, but perhaps that was due to an injury that took him out of the game and allowed Dimitrov to play well. It is unclear if Dimitrov would have been able to continue or win if it had gone to a fifth set, no one knows. Today he faces Alcaraz who seems to be playing better and better, but his previous game against Fritz raises doubts about his performance. If not for Fritz's failure to close the set, it is uncertain how the match would have turned out. Even if Alcaraz had won in five sets, it would have raised further doubts about his game. Personally, I have had doubts about Alcaraz since his first match, and his performance has only worsened over time, especially against Fognini. Then playing against Struff, he also didn't play well and was on the edge of losing. Maybe Norrie was also already tired... Sineris, except for his match against Dimitrov, has beaten everyone comfortably, which has convinced me. Plus, the match was played on a clay court, where Sineris was likely the favorite, but Alcaraz managed to win in a miraculous way. Even though Sineris played better overall, Alcaraz's performance during the match made me think that he has the upper hand today. Good luck to everyone involved.
