When I see such teams meeting, my first thought is about the cards. After a brilliant performance at the European Championship, it will be difficult for Romania to climb higher in the rankings and qualify for the World Cup. So far, they have only collected three points in three matches, losing to their main opponents - Bosnia and Austria. Therefore, they cannot afford to waste points at home against Cyprus if they still hope to achieve something. Cyprus has played under in their matches, but they have three points from their victory against San Marino. Both teams are known for their high number of fouls, with an average of 15 for Cyprus and 13 for Romania, making them the top two teams in the group for fouls. So everything here seems to revolve around the cards, but the biggest problem is that Lithuanian referee D. Rumšas, who is disciplined and does not hand out cards easily, will be officiating. However, this is a clash between two hot-tempered and emotional teams, so I hope Lithuania will discipline the players with warnings.
