Even though Jiri hasn't been playing better tennis lately, there is a chance for him to demonstrate his better version here. Although the hard court surface is more favorable to him today because of his strong shots, Fokina is slightly stronger on clay. The key is that the Spaniard is able to work well in rallies and if given opportunities, he can keep the ball on the court for a long time, causing a lot of problems for the Czech player. Jiri, of course, can win because he is not significantly weaker here, but I believe that defense should prevail in the long run, when the Spaniard's shots are exhausted.
