I believe that the USA team is stronger because during the tournament they demonstrated their strength. The Swiss period to the finals was much easier, and this year they only played two serious matches - against the Czech Republic (lost 4:5 in overtime) and against the USA (won 3:0). It is difficult to beat a team for the second time in a tournament that you have already played and won against. I see good value in betting for the USA here.
