Pick: Learner Tien @2.100 8/10 -8.00

Risky bet, but worth the risk. Why? First of all, there is a rising US tennis star. He plays a very intelligent and technical game. He doesn't have extraordinary physical abilities, but his tennis is truly creative and smart. Last season was simply amazing, making it to the ATP NEXT GEN final and losing to talented Brazilian Fonseca after a hard-fought battle. This season is no different, as he has already started playing in bigger ATP tournaments with results that are automatically a bit worse, but still relatively good. He reached the R16 at the AO, losing to Sonego, and defeated the in-form Medvedev in a beautiful match, as well as the "expert" in ball control Alexander Zverev in Acapulco, Mexico. He has also beaten other decent players, with some losses that stand out, like against Gastao Elias on clay, who allegedly has a promising future. He also lost to Giron after a tough match. In the Rome quarterfinals, he defeated Czech Machat in straight sets (6:4, 6:4) and had previously beaten Opelka. His record on clay is not very impressive (6/9), but it is never wise to assume that a player who loves hard courts cannot play on clay. There are certain types of players who are more suited for clay or hard courts, and I think this player can adapt to any surface. It is hard to say how well he can resist against the Japanese player, but he can definitely compete with him. The Japanese player is no longer the player he used to be, although he still has some potential. But playing against young and energized opponents like Tien can level out the playing field. Speaking of the Japanese player, in his last match, he lost against the same player Gaubo who lost to Canadian Shapovalov. He also won in three sets against Vukic. I will be betting on the young Peruvian player this time, who may have some difficulties on clay, but has great talent and youthful speed and technique. He may be facing a more experienced and titled Japanese player, but he could potentially surprise the tennis world and win titles, just like in old times. I am betting 1% of my bankroll. Good luck.
