Last stages of the European Championship qualifications. The Belgians can almost be said to have lost hope of advancing to the next round, they only have to finish the qualifications. The team is not at the highest level, they rarely make it to any tournaments, and the players are not ones to compete in strong clubs in other countries either. Against weaker opponents, such as Cyprus or Luxembourg, the team is able to score over goals, but when a more serious opponent comes, their offense weakens. The Croatians are currently first in the group and have secured their spot in the championship, so the coach brings in new players here to try out. The team is known for their strong defense, and even though the Croatians will not be playing with their strongest team, I think the Belgians will still struggle with scoring.
