Hello. I believe that this event with a good coefficient is worth attention. Last season, Lithuanian football was quite good and with the arrival of Jankauskas as a coach, it rose from the bottom where it was. In the UEFA Nations League, although we did not achieve our highest goals, despite the results, we showed a much better game. We fought admirably against all teams both away and at home. We learned to control the ball better, motivation emerged among the players to perform better, and there were also young players who showed determination. There were many matches where we were just missing luck to finish attacks successfully. Continuing this thought, it was evident in the last match against Poland away. Despite the negative result, I would say that Lithuania fought very honorably, there was good ball control, one great missed opportunity that could have changed the course of the match, and a good understanding between the players. All of this is optimistic for the upcoming match against Finland. This motivation to play, not just kick the ball away like before, and the diligent work should pay off and give a positive result. Especially since the opponent seems suitable, considering the recent games and results of Finland. The advantage is that we play at home, which is a good chance to at least achieve a draw.
