Challenger Valencia, clay. Let's start with the fact that in the worst case scenario, I am equal in strength here. Bouzas Maneiro's handicap is merely a home advantage, all arguments are in favor of Ann Li for me. The American, who has been inactive for a long time, has been steadily improving her game and slowly trying to reclaim her ranking position. Bouzas, on the other hand, cannot boast of optimal form, struggling against both Brancaccio and Bassols. Ann Li is overall a better player and considering that she has been playing better tennis in the last year and a half, she is not an unknown favorite for me.
