ATP masters level tournament, where in first match two very different players will meet, but different in skills? I dont think so. Not so long ago Pierre reached final in home tournament, but it was indoors and at home, and now we will play on outside hard, in USA which is very different.

We can see that french is struggling on hard courts, he do not perform very well, even with his serve and height.

In other side we have a completly clay type player, who is quite tall, fast and also have decent serve which today will play a role in the match.

If we look at Pedro hard court matches we see that 70% of matches its a over 20 games doesnt matter against whom he plays.

French guy also likes TB.

I guess in this match we will see good serve and hits from Pierre, not one game when he will win fast using serve and volley.

But we have quite good defending player, who will be better on longer rallies and i guess even without winning serve he will play good and win games.

So in the end i think we will see TB in first set
