I'd say France are overperforming. They have one player who is carrying the team. France do also defend well, but other than their main player the other 11 don't play much in the highest level leagues.
Israel have their leader, Avdija who has fantastic numbers and he is predicted to be a 1st round pick in the NBA next year. Aprt him they have Yamu Madaru and every other player help out with their strong willingness to compete. Overall it's a very good time for Israeli basketball.
They're playing in a big arena and in such a tournament, Israel will have big support at home.
