Germany - Mexico

Gonna go with a combo pick to get out of this poor run. So the first pick is going to be Germany over Mexico. Germany will be well prepared and are always amazing at the tournament, at least in recent years. Germany have a solid team again and are one of the main contenders to win the world cup, their only problem is lack of pace at the back but I'm sure they'll address that. Mexico's biggest weakness is playing against top teams just look at last year when they lost to German B team 4-1, then a few world cups before where they constantly lost to argentina netherlands and the copa america loss to Chile 7-0, all of this just happens way too often and shows that Mexico are not right when it comes to these big games. Germany are better coached and have a better team and will win 3-1
