Gavrilova D. - Mertens E.

I have literally no idea why Mertens is a favorite in this match. Gavrilova actually is more talented player and, more importantly, playing at home! She doesn't do a Stosur and crumble under Australian Open pressure. Mertens just won Hobart for 2nd year in a row and maybe that makes her favorite but that Hobart event is a joke. I think Dasha wins this match-up 7 times out of 10 and, being here in Melbourne and night match with huge support, she will pull thru in a bumpy 3-setter. My calculation for odds would have been Dasha at 1.70ish, so this is a bargain for sure.
