You can purchase tickets to each day, individually, at DerbyBox.com with grandstand seats starting at $100 for Friday and $595 for Saturday when American Pharoah will race. Last year, grandstand seating was available for as little as $35. General admission to the clubhouse has a get-in price of $325 on Saturday, the cheapest ticket available to see American Pharoah, though you may not have a direct view of the race.

There’s been a lot of buzz about this year’s Breeders’ Cup Classic and how it could be one of the best fields ever, featuring a Triple Crown winner, a mare unbeaten this year, and a dangerous Grade 1-winning closer.

American Pharoah will bring renewed interest to Breeders' Cup

In a workout jockey Gary Stevens described to the Daily Racing Form as "scary good," champion mare Beholder put in another drill Thursday morning toward the $5 million Breeders' Cup Classic.

I'm so confused now, should I bet on all horses 😁

Pacific Classic winner Beholder has galloped at Santa Anita for the last time before heading to Kentucky for the Breeders' Cup.

The two-time Eclipse Award winner was on the track Sunday and is scheduled to ship to Keeneland early Monday. Trainer Richard Mandella plans one workout for her there before she is scheduled to face Triple Crown champion American Pharoah in the Breeders' Cup Classic on Oct. 31.

American Pharoah also galloped Sunday. Trainer Bob Baffert says the colt will have another workout on Tuesday. He has not yet finalized shipping plans to Kentucky.

Beholder has 15 wins in 20 career starts and earnings of over $4.4 million. She won the $1 million Pacific Classic against male horses by 8 1/4 lengths in August at Del Mar, and she won the Grade 1 Zenyatta Stakes for the third straight year on Sept. 26 at Santa Anita.

A winning outsider is related to two things – one based on statistics and the other based on your luck ! :acne

Well guess what, once you place your bet and lose your money, that money is not yours anymore. I had a friend who made lots of money, only betting on outsiders!

The Breeders’ Cup Classic is the race everybody has been waiting for. The clash between the Triple Crown winner American Pharoah and the best mare of the country, Beholder, will a rarely seen event. Although she spiked a fever related to shipping, it seems that issue hasn’t affected her at all. She looked great in her workout and seems ready to beat the males. American Pharoah is working like a freak and is in excellent condition, ready to give his best in the final race of his career. Honor Code was third in the Kelso Handicap (GII) over one mile in a race considered to be prep for the Classic. After that race, he worked like a champ. Certainly the key of this race will be the pace; will American Pharoah be pressed again like Frosted did to him in the Travers? The answer to that question will be known only a few seconds after the start. This is a perfect race to simply watch and enjoy. - See more at: www-ladyandthetrack-com/news/13964/breeders-cup-2015-picks-and-plays-html#sthash-c5Nhkp11-dpuf
