The wagers add to the game's overall betting total, which hit $87.4 million this year.
There is only so much you can do, however, with the world's most famous poker game.
Nevada gaming regulators are allowing sports books to accept five additional wagers on the World Series of Poker's Main Event in November, beyond who gamblers think will win the game's most prestigious title.

Greenbaum, who ran sports books for Caesars' predecessor, Harrah's Entertainment, was matter-of-fact when asked if he ever thought he would be listing odds on the World Series of Poker.
"Ten years ago, no," Greenbaum said. "But I also didn't imagine the thousands of fans seeking autographs from players or the live television. This shows you how popular the World Series of Poker has become. Our objective was to give people something to bet on."
Wagering on the makeup of the first flop -- the first three community cards in a game of hold'em -- is akin to wagering on the Super Bowl's coin toss, Greenbaum said.
Caesars officials and World Series of Poker representatives had other wagering ideas for the event, which they may ask gaming regulators to approve next year.
The final table of the Main Event is scheduled for Nov. 5 and Nov. 7 in the Rio's Penn & Teller theater. But the dates may be moved to Nov. 6 and Nov. 8 to accommodate television plans, which would include the first-ever live coverage of a poker tournament's conclusion.

DURANT, OK -- In just a couple days hundreds of people will head to the Choctaw Casino in Durant for the second annual World Series of Poker Circuit event.
From Thursday the 12th through the 23rd of January players will have the chance to win big bucks and play for the championship title at this year's circuit tour. There are a total of 52 events in the coming weeks, and players are already putting on their poker faces. For some poker's not just a game, it's a way of life. Garrett says he started playing poker semi-professionally back in 2009.
"There's this saying of poker 'it takes a minute to learn, but a lifetime to master', and that's very true," Garrett said. "The games constantly evolving, players are changing, players are becoming better, and especially with the internet."
He has played in high stakes tournaments across the U.S., but this is his first time at the World Series of Poker event.
Choctaw Casino Poker Room Manager Ken Lambert says in less than 48 hours they will have a full house. About a thousand people like Garrett are expected to fill the room for the tournament, all of them hoping for an ace in the hole.
"It gets real competitive around here. As the field narrows down, and the players become more serious," Lambert said.
Lambert says the tournament is not just for experienced players that anyone can join in, and they do. In the past, the tournament has drawn up to 15,000 visitors, which makes the event a 'win-win' for the players and Durant's economy.
Lambert says he game does require skill, but sometimes even amateurs get lucky.
"Make sure you play good cards, but more than anything be patient you don't have to get your money in there all at once," Lambert said.
"Tight is right. Play tight. And you want to play aggressive you want to put pressure on your opponents and make them make tough decisions," Garrett said.
Both Lambert and Garrett agree it is not just about playing your cards right that having a stern poker face is key.
"If you're smiling too much, laughing too much or too many expressions you've lost your poker face," Lambert said.

Antonio Esfandiari was holding on to a shrinking lead over Sam Trickett in the early going of the final day of the $1 million buy-in Big One for One Drop Texas Hold’em event, which is offering the richest top prize in poker history.
Esfandiari, who was scheduled to be an analyst for ESPN for the three-day event, was the chip leader at the final table on the final day Tuesday, with 39,925,000 chips (about 28 percent of the chips). He was trending downward in early play in the no-limit event.

On the 85th and final hand in the three-day event, Esfandiari held on to win with three fives he acquired before the turn and overcame Trickett's flush draw.
Trickett, who had gone all in, nor Esfandiari were able to improve their hands during the turn and the river. Esfandiari finished with 143,975,000 chips.
"It's unbelievable,'' Esfandiari said. "It's euphoric. I'm so happy right now, and I don't even think it has set in.''
