Yes its confusing at first it is fast. and quick. You get to deceide the best cards to keep with alot more hands to see. Keep playing there is also a playchip version of the game where you can get lots of practice. Hope this helps and good luck. Freerollbird

I no longer play rush. After making a good bit then losing a good bit. I just think its more like a slot machine than poker. You basically keep pulling the handle till you get KK or AA. Its not poker, it takes the player out of the game and you just play your cards.

Rush Poker is pretty cool.I played in a $4.40 buy in yesterday rush poker sit$go and came 6th in a field of 135.It's fast moving and fun. It's definitely faster than regular play.

I played rush poker for 2 months now beginning april and i can say that this is my most profitable game to date...

the key to winning the game is simple, play it tight...
fold if there are overcards, be aggressive on your premiums.
if you have a drawing hand always consider the pot odds.
good luck😡

Agreed with the premium play. You also want to look for cheap spots to flop sets. If you can get in against 3-4 people for a small amount pre, the money can be huge as the premium hands won't let go when you flop your set.

Rush Poker is definitely awesome. It's definitely a rush.Yesterday I was playing the $25-50 cent NL and pulled down some pretty good pots but the best one was the $50 one. It's not much but it's definitely a win.

I noticed lot of people talking about the fast pace of the game.....Hence the name RUSH(not slang for russian ya know) I do tend to agree with the slot machine analogy

I like the Rush Poker format, but with more speed comes more bad beats. I won a lot playing also, then I lost it playing the same way as when I won. Adjusting your game is a big part of Rush. X

I'm playing Rush cash games for the past few months at 5/10c, and i absulutely agree that there is much more luck than skill in it, but it's definately a fun game.
All you have to do is to play extreme tight and never slow play any flopped or made premium hands, don't try to trap the opponent, because you never know what crap hand he's playing and he may draw you out with 2 pair or miracle straights.
I usually try to see cheap flops with small or medium pocket pairs, trying to mine a set, but when i have high pockets (QQ+) i always reraise the usually 2-4x blind bet, because many players just try to steal the blinds with crap.
Of course sometimes i face to coolers, for ex QQ vs KK or KK vs AA, but that's poker.

Greywind, glad you can now practice with playchips. There is also a nightly freeroll you can join, to further your learning experince without risking your bankroll. I for one would only play it as a freeroll. Much as my cash ring game goes I find rushpoker more or less a crap shoot. find a game or trny you are good at master it, then venture outward. And there is no shame in playing with playchips, because if you are serious you will learn to play well, before you lose your first deposits like i did. Trying to catchup on freerolls. Freerollbird I know nothing yet, there are so many good players here just ask questions share you experince and maybe we all can become final table junkies. Because god knows when u make it it sure feels good. Thanks for reading Freerollbird

agreed....it drives me absolutely nuts that I can't get reads on other players, which is largely what I base my game on so I'm not terribly successful at it.

Exactly what I thought of Rush Poker.

You can make profit without to much effort, if that's your sole purpose of playing. Mechanical in a sense and seems to take the feel out of the game.

But hey it's another variation of poker and a lot of players like it.

Enjoy the Rush ................
