Has anyone played those kamikazi tournaments at doyles? These seem like the lottery to me, how are they so popular. Seems to me like its for people who like like and aren't good at poker.

Exactly, not really poker in my opinion. Might as well cut the deck for high card. No strategy at all. Guess people like to gamble, thats all these are , all luck no strategy. I played in one once, just to see, didnt have time to play long, guess thats the draw, you don't need much time, LOL. I hate em, would never play in one again.

I've played Doyle's a few times and always left feeling like it was a lottery. Lots of bad play, lots of all ins with ace/rag. Not really poker.

The kamikaze's are all-in or fold, or are they "no choice" family pots every hand?

I don't mind playing in the low ones now and then. Actaually have won a couple. Guess it's no different then buying a scratch ticket......You take a chance and see what happens. I wouldn't reccomend you try building your bankroll with it though.
