80% seems a little high,
but then again, how many are still in the hand
the more in, the more the % drops

AA is totally overrated, too many variables
way too many

and remember, it is only a starting hand
if the flop doesn't hit it, well, LOOK OUT!!

I prefer AK over AA or KK. Better chance at straight or a flush if they are suited. I have horriable luck with AA, but then again I have had great luck with them.

Seems to me that people only remember when they lose with them. You never see a blog saying....I always win with AA

AA's (allin preflop) to win vs 1 opp is around 80%. The more players in the hand the lower the win% and the lower the entry fee (if any) more players tend to call the allin. So the AA's get beat.

I agree. Most of the time though I expect AA or KK to be cracked so I am not so bothered by it if it happens...then I am super stoked if they hold. =) I do see people brag about their bad beats to other people, as opposed to getting bad beated. 😁

I think the most problems with AA is that most people don't raise enough pre flop and get out drawn

It all depends how you play the hand....You got to play it strong at the start otherwise you could end up losing the hand.

I agree it is all about the way you play your hand.. and then there is luck 😁 remember phil helmuth vs durrr at the national heads up championship (good play, bad luck)

I've been beat plenty with AA. Your table image is a factor...are you in a lot of hands all the time? Do people respect you when you throw down a big bet? How many people are in the hand? How strong are you opening? What is your position? All these things factor into every hand you play. The flop is just as likely to favor a guy with a pair of 2s as it is you...if you miss the flop and someone starts betting into you, it's likely that you're beat. Laying down bullets is hard, but it's easier than losing all your money.
