I dont have much experience playing razz, but starting hands are important. The best thing to do buy some razz poker books on amazon and play some freerolls, join full tilt cause they have some freerolls going.

I don't have enough experience to give out any advices at the moment!

I have played and cashed in razz tournaments and also in HORSE tournaments. Razz looks easier to some than it is so they take too many chances after catching pairs and/or picture cards. Welcome:

I think the horse games are great because its a good chance to learn how to play all the games because if you just sit back for one or two rounds each cycle, you quickly fall behind, so i try to play them all

If you play horse you must play Razz.

H = holdem
O = omaha
R = razz
S = 7 stud
E = eight low / high / low 7 stud

I enjoy the RAZZ portion in HORSE tourneys (especially in a HORSE freeroll because most of the players are pretty clueless about the game).
I haven't played alot of RAZZ but 'usually' just keep it really straightforward (especially if it's a cheap buy-in or freeroll), only playing good starting hands and getting out if I don't figure I'm ahead for sure. It's amazing how many will come along for the ride when you know they're drawing dead.
Omaha I tend to avoid in HORSE, really tightening up there.

While playing a HORSE game i will mostly play omaha hi/lo and razz. Those both are great as the limit holdem and stud are too dangerous for me. 😁 I usually have good time playing private HORSE games and even good results. I played sometimes the Absolute or Pitbull razz or horse free game too, to get more experience on both variantes.
Razz ain't that hard to play, probably one of the easiest poker game for me. Hope to see you around a HORSE table soon.

And I understand your question........................ It depends on the cards I get. Maybe "yes" I will play RAZZ. Maybe "no". You never know, you know?:dance:

In a H.O.R.S.E. tournament you can choose to fold the whole time while its Razz or play it. (I play it) I think Razz is the best time to build my chip stack in a H.O.R.S.E. tournament.

H.O.R.S.E. is definitely my favorite game of late, and as others have mentioned it is a great time to build a nice stack. Definitely worth your time to perfect, and as someone else has mentioned, the RAZZ freeroll on FTilt @ 9:00pm Eastern? is a great place to learn..
