The best i can find from ixgames is and i quote:

How many post do u really need to b able to get the passwords...some of us cant stay at home all day posting in forums ....we do hv jobs..kids..and a life besides poker all day but it would b nice to play in your freerolls 2..thank u

you should also note other players asking why they have been removed from the freerolls - i would suggest you have to be an active full member on the day that the "list" of players is sent to the particular site.

players that don't appear to be as active - will probably be removed by admin!

not 100% sure of all - but that would be my take on it
