Hi all!
Yesterday i played some HU games at Full Tilt, but i was so unlucky. I was KOed in 2 $5 HU matches with monster hands: first was an AA, my opp had AKs, he flopped the nutflush so i had no chance, second was KK, my opp had 66, he flopped the set, turn was an other 6 ... :eek:
After that i lost one more $10 HU, so i had a very bad day yesterday.
But today i played a $5 4 ppl HU Shootout and i managed to win it.Last hand: Poker hand played on Full Tilt Poker with a pot size of $4,450 - Pokerhand.org 😉 I was extreme lucky this time, so 15$ profit for today, but i'm still a lot down, but i'm sure i will be able to grind them all back.

Made it ITM again in one of these 8 a day $2,500 qualifiers for Depositer's at PokerStars. I'ts their new promo... for a small deposit of $10 you get into 15 days of $2,500 Freerolls that are qualifiers for December 13th's 8 $25,000 Finals Freerolls. If you finish ITM ... which is in the top 500.. of any of these $2,500 qualifiers, you get a ticket to a final. You can qualify for all 8 of them. So all together there will have been 125 of these $2,500 qualifiers to make it into the 8 Finals on Sunday the 13th. Wish I could have played in more of these, but got busy and missed most of them that I was home for. You really have to be Johnny on the spot to register for most of these... they fil up fast with the exception of the late night one. Hoping to get qualified in 1 more tomorrow, the last day of qualifiers.
Finished in 92nd out of 9735 for $5. Not what I'd hoped for but at this point in the tourney but, everyone is going big or staying home.. lol.. so you put up or fold.. lol! Over 4 hours in these just to make it to 500 left to qualify.. a definite grind! LOL!

There are occasions when a loose player may play tighter than normal. This can happen when the player has just rallied back from a significant loss to the point where he is close to even or slightly ahead. This player will now be more cognizant of that breakeven point and will be more
risk-adverse than normal. He does not want to get back in the red since he had to battle so hard to get out of it. Another time this can happen is when a player has a decent win and is close to leaving. You can see this when he starts to rack up his chips and looks like he is waiting until the big blind gets to him before he leaves. Since he had a nice win, he does not want to leave and give some of his winnings back, at the same time, he does not want to give up on the positive expectancy of getting “free” hands when not in the blinds. Another time is when the player is talking to a friend who is not playing at the table but is just “visiting”. In that case, the player will usually try not to embarrass himself with poor play, and will play as solidly as he knows how

While everybody appreciates advice etc. my advice to you is not to just copy and paste directly from other sites...
every individuals input is important - but seriously we could all just browse the internet and copy and paste poker strategy - i could post tons and tons of other peoples information.

As an FYI, PS has a Hyper Turbo Freeroll that is registering right now for 2:45 PM EST (Dec 20th). Already 100k players in it. PS announces these type of freerolls on a random basis-they are not scheduled.
