Stealing blinds - you can do at anytime....
obv- if ur big stack you have the advantage
anywhere near the bubble in cash games
if your stealing the blinds cards don't really matter - the point is that you are stealing so make your bet strong enough (to represent something big) - e.g. 4X bb
beware though if someone hits a monster they WILL call you - but that's the gamble

when trying to steal
while being short stacked (even with a premium starting hand)
any player behind you, who's stack is a monster
will (or should) call you
because, you arent gonna hurt their stack, if you win
it's basically, an elimination 'call'[/FONT]

I'd seen an interview w/ greg raymor, I wont forget
at a 9 player table, he sat before the cutoff,
it was, fold, fold, fold, fold in front of him - he said, at that time
its automatic to try to steal the blinds - he was gonna raise!
he only needed to look at the value of his cards to determine
how much of a raise to put in
now, that was his style, not mine
but it does give me another pattern to look for, in opponents[/FONT]
