There is a very important part to Hold-em that everyone should learn to play and thats the False Tale. I have utilized this playing style since 1972 with very good results. Don't confuse this with Trapping or Bluffing. Trapping an agressive player in a big pot is a sweet thing and rewards you well. Bluffing is just a well time play to steal a pot and has its rewards but you can only get away with these plays once or twice. Playing with False Tales in a Internet High Stakes game or on a table in your favorite Caniso...is pure bliss. And I have beaten everyone with this style of play consitently..........Everyone yes all of em. OK how is it played you ask? Internet play is limited so the deception is utilized through the Chat, Time and Bet amount. The most important is Chat you have to use it very early in the game. For example I use words like Your ARE and UR with different sizes of bets. As the game progresses I will see that someone finally pick it up and now I'm in control of that player. I then will reverse my bets.....works everytime. Same thing for size of your bets and amount of time to make your bet. This style of play works even better in the Casinos because the sky is the limit where you can utilize all kinds of deception to win. Example I like to fiddle with my chips with a average to strong hand. I also just glance at a player with a weak hand just to reverse it when the time is right. Creating Tales can be a very important tool in Hold-em and I use it all the time. Try it let me know how it works out for you....
