Problem with Absolute?

Reply Subscribe
This past week I encountered a problem with my absolute program. Went to open and it would not said shortcut path moved or not there so I deleted the program went to site downloaded again and recieved the same message. This time it will not allow me to delete the program. So I emailed tech and they sent me a new link to download from have not done that yet. Someone has speculated that a worm was planted in the download to caputer your info. Does anyone have this same problem? I have found others at Railbirds that have. If so post your solution to the problem. I am just not sure what to do yet.

Try to run an adaware/spyware cleaner first. Ad-Aware @ Lavasoft - The Original Anti-Spyware Company - Lavasoft

(Please post the name of the spyware/worm)

Try the adaware program before doing anything else.

I have ran virus scan twice nothing comes up. AVG absolute tech tried to tell me its AVG but the program ran fine until the latest update earlier in the wk..but when it first poped up as a problem AVG said it was a trojan horse generic 12.LEV absolute/mainclient.exc back up copy infected

You probably got some bad software installed while you were installing the download. Try to fix it with software that can detect it.
