Power Poker Club Suspends Operations

Reply Subscribe
It has come to my attention that 'Power Poker Club' has suspended their operations.

This is completely seperate from Power Poker which is not affected

Power Poker Club have issued this statement:-

As of January 18, 2010, we have decided to suspend all games. We also will no longer accept any subscription payments. This is purely due to technical issues that we have not been unable to resolve. We would like to assure you that this has nothing at all to do with financing as PowerPokerClub has been, and continues to be, extremely well funded. This fact will allow us to honor all requests for cash-outs as well as refunds due for remaining balances of your subscriptions.

Anyone who currently has funds at Power Poker Club will be able to get a cash out by following the instructions at
Power Poker Club -- Subscription Poker

You will need to act before Jan 31st though (well before, I would suggest)

Have you heard of anyone getting paid their payouts yet?

All I keep getting told is that it will be 2nd May before any cashouts will happen - personally, I am extremely dubious that this will happen,

Well it has happened - their email account is no longer accepting emails - so it looks like my $600 and my WSOP ticket are not going to be honoured - I now think this site was a fraud.

I know they suspended operation back in Jan 2010 - however they have been responding to emails consistently saying that the payout would happen - but since it has not and they have now stopped their email service - I am 99.9% certain my winnings and WSOP final ticket are lost. I live in the UK - are those sites regulated - can they be sued for not paying out ? Is there anyone/group in the US that I can contact to force the issue ?
