Now that thousands of online poker players have become infatuated with playing Rush Poker at Full Tilt, and some have even mastered the new way to play online poker, they have now added Rush Poker tournaments.

Rush Poker lovers will be happy to know that the new Rush Poker tournaments are structured in the same way as the popular Rush Poker cash games—when you fold your hand, you are immediately moved to a new table where you are dealt a new hand. One alteration between the tournaments and cash games has been put in place to avoid stalling. In the tournaments, the players who will be the big and small blinds is decided differently than in Rush Poker cash games. In the cash game version, the big and small blinds are determined by who has played the most hands without putting up the big blind. In the tournament variation, the blinds will be decided depending on the number of hands that have passed since a player was the big blind, but the amount of time that has elapsed since the player was in the big blind, as well. This hopes to eliminate players from stalling to get in the money bubble.

As the tournament continues, play becomes short-handed to keep with the rapid play of Rush Poker, until the final table. At this point the tourney reverts to a regular poker tournament.

When Rush Poker was introduced, there was some criticism, but it didn’t stop people from playing it. Now it has caught on like the plague, and many players have abandoned all other forms of online poker just to play Rush Poker as much as possible. This innovative development in online poker was what the online poker community was waiting for, and now there’s something new at Full Tilt Poker to keep the players entertained and the new guys signing up.

I tried the $4.40 SNG Rush and it was pretty cool. I did not cash, but it was fun to play that fast. I see they have KO tourneys also. X

Sounds like a fair way to play a quick game. Some of the smaller private freerolls I have been playing have still a problem with pw sharing. So with the pw been passed out to so many i tend to take my time when playing.

In addition to playing some small freerolls that the pw has been shared I find myself playing much tighter, and folding hands worth playing. I realy do not want to develop bad habbits early in my learning the game. perhaps I should limit hose games and conentrate on more serious play.

I was also lucky to stumble across the freeoll for rush poker and enjoyed it. not being use to it I might practise up some with playchips and get ready for a buy in game. Tnx, Freerollbird
