Full Tilt Poker introduced a new style of Sit and Go earlier today when they officially launched their "Matrix Tournaments." The new style is certainly interesting.

I tried it with the "play money" and had fun. Very hard for me to win because its very fast. Trying to play 4 tables at once is not that easy. Still fun none the less.

Personally I think these tournaments are great idea's! I’m sure everybody hates to be the last player out of the money in Sit & Go tournaments, but in Matrix Tournaments you can still win a piece from the Matrix prize pool by playing constantly and even without winning any individual tournaments! Less variance, more happiness!

If you are used to playing multiple tables you will love it. I don't like the payout structures, but it was fun to play. X

What I'd like to see is multi table elimination tournaments, where the top 2 or 3 advance to the next table. Every time a table is changed, everyone has their chips reset to equal again. By doing that, the whole thing would be based off of skill, rather than luck...kind of like how shoot out tournies are.
