This is very good news. Aster is one of the best companies out there for fraud detection...

online poker is supposed to be fun and honest.

knowing that fulltilt is striving to make its software the best and safest, allows me to have more peace of mind while playing on FT,

users with mulitple accts.. i hope you get caught NOW!

Maybe this will help put an end to one player playing multiple players in a tourney. Im glad to see they are working on a solution.

The real question in my mind is "Will Aster Look Internally at the data" - Sure there are users that have multi-accounts and they should be removed so that it's an even playing field. But I would like for them to look internally at the "Random Number Generator" issues that I feel are a bigger concern. I understand that bad beats happen but as a computer programmer myself, I look for patterns and reasons for things. How is it that there are SO MANY runner runner situations. When you have AA and Flop codes A34 the other user has KQ and 10 comes on the Turn and J on the river. the problem is that there have been MANY times that right after the flop and ALL IN with the BEST hand I knew what was coming on the turn and river - sure enough it did... why... I play alot of online poker and it just seems to me that something is not right. What it seems to me is that each time a user logs in they are assigned a luck factor - that luck factor will be with you on each hand. I had one night when I could do no wrong - I hit everything... I mean EVERYTHING and could not lose no matter what cards I played. and there have been many more nights when NOTHING HIT or if it did hit the flop then the other player hits his one or two outer.... I'm not saying that they are cheating - but it's just not right - I would love to have someone analyze the data and see how often that actually happens and compare that to real life data and see if there is a variant. maybe I'm off base... would love to hear others comments on this....

This is very encouraging news, as I play essentially all of my online games at FTP.

It has been a long time coming from what I understand and I am only to glad that FTP will be taking more action to filter out the frauds. I play FTP more than any other site, and there are way to many who do not follow the rules. And, they are really good about responded back when issues arise. Thanks for the post.
