e-checks delay

Lately I have made two small deposits at Fulltilt via e-check. While my FT account gets instantly funded, there seems to be a rather long delay before my account is actually debited. Several weeks. Any idea what is the reason behind this?

Sounds like a good thing! Get your money in your poker account, don't pay for it for a couple weeks. You may have convinced me to give it shot. I've only used visa gift cards. How does echeck work, just use your checking acc't right? Didn't think US banks would allow that, I know my visa check wouldn't work, but echecks are allowed?

Yes. Some US banks allow it. Fulltilt has e-check option available but you must have an account in good standing for a certain period of time before the option is avalable. Not sure what that time period is. They also have direct deposit withdrawal which works really well once you set that up. That also has several weeks delay.
