Lady Gaga Sued by Ex Assistant

If you ever thought working for Lady Gaga would be fun - apparently not. A former assistant is claiming that Gaga made her work under horrifying conditions - like the time she was asked her to hand her a towel after Gaga emerged from the shower. Gasp. Horror. Sweatshop.

Gaga's former assistant, Jennifer O'Neill, claims she worked for the superstar for 13 months and is owed a staggering $380,000 in overtime. That's a lot of extra towels! O'Neill says that the number represents 7,168 hours of overtime during the 13 months - which, by our calculations - means she was pulling in approximately $53/hour.

For that rate, O'Neill says her job including doing arduous tasks, like keeping Gaga on scheudle and making sure she had proper drying utensils after showering. The suit alledges that officially, her job was "ensuring the promptness of a towel following a shower and serving as a personal alarm clock to keep [Gaga] on schedule."

Gaga's rep told the New York Post the suit is "completely without merit."
