Osaka clearly is not a clay courter and still learning to play on this surface but neither is Vekic, so this match being so close in terms of the odds makes not much sense tbh. Naomi was expected to have a tough time against Hsieh yesterday but beat her comfortably and did not even drop a serve once. That performance will give her confidence and I just don't see how much can Vekic do if Osaka plays like yesterday. Donna basically will be outhit and the clay factor is not a deciding one. If they played on grass, I would give Vekic a shot.
