Adrian Menendez vs Noah Rubin

This is the smallest challenger tournament of the week, but I believe we can make profit here in Noumea, New Caledonia

We have here a match that in my opinion will go in 3 sets, because these players played as good in the first round

Noah Rubis disposed of Mats Moraing in the first set in 2 sets, 6-3 7-6, in a very swift match. he won 88% points with his first service, 45% with his second service, and he offered only 3 break points, saving 2 of them. So he was broken only once

His opponent, Maceiras, also made a very solid first game

Today, 14:30, Lyon challenger, final, clay.
Bourgue Mathias - Auger Aliassime Felix
Bet : Auger Aliassime Felix
Odds : 2,20

Very young talented Canadian will play in Lyon final versus home player Bourge... This few years young players showed us very good tennis, often they won titles, won good matches.. for today i think same.. Bourge isnt bad player, but he isnt that good, he is playing at home that will help him, but at game he is not so strong.
Auger - Is very talented player, he plays in this tournament very good.. he won very good matches, i guess he can be one of youngest players to win title on challenger tour, so lets his dream come true.

Ilkley challenger, 1. round, grass.
Brydan Klein - Gombos Norbert
Bet : Over 22.5
Odds : 1,85

Grass tournament, where serve is mort important thing. Both players have good serve, are taller and slower and that is good for this over bet.
Gombos - Not a grass player at all, he is tall but like to play on clay surface. He is slow, not very mentally strong, but he have good serve and can play today versus his opponent.
Brydan - British guy, not very talented, neither he is good on tour, but on grass he are quite good. He plays often on grass, always in UK. So like always i think he will show something good.
In the end - Both players are not very good, so = i guess they will make a lot of game's , maybe 3 sets. Good luck.

Todi challenger, round of 16, clay.
Laurynas Grigelis - Caruana Liam
Bet : Laurynas Grigelis Win
Odds : 1,65

Easy bet on Grigelis.. He is much older, more experienced player.. And also like clay and Italy.
Liam is very young.. he neither are good now, neither good on clay, played only few matches.. so i guess Grigelis will win today in three set's.

Let me try one.
Eysseric Jonathan - Hamou Maxime (ATP Challenger)
Bet : Under 23,0 Game's
ODds : 1.8

Milan Challenger, both players isnt in good shape. Eyseric have a tragic season for him.. all injuries and etc. Hamou is still young , still trying to do something.
A lot of matches Eyseric is loosing in two set's with under, i could say he will loose today again in straight set's or win in straight set's.
Two way;s : He is good enough for today, to win easy. or he is still in bad shape to fight and will loose in straight sets.
Hamou can finish match if eseryc wont play good.

Okay, one from me too.
Collarini Andrea - De Greef, also from Milan Challneger.
Bet : Over 21.5 Game's
Odds : 1.8

Both players are in different levels. De Greef playing in men tennis this year. His form at this moment maybe not be best, but he is from higher level.
Collarini Andrea - I can say grown up for challenger this year, in past two Futures tournament he was best, won two titles, so he can try his luck at challenger...
Both players wont loose easy.. Collarini Andrea will try to do his best, but question is can he do it so good to win easy? I think no, Greef will try show something too. and wont let him win easy... So both players will win a set i guess.

Mikael Ymer - Henri Laaksonen match preview

embeded-image

Match of the day preview : Bastad ATP250 tournament on clay in Sweden. Opening match between one of the wildcard receiver and castle defender(Sweden player) Mikael Ymer versus Henri Laaksonen form Switzerland, whom recently reached ATP100 ranking and now he is in his highest positinion ever. Young Swedish player is only 18 years old and 7 years younger than swiss player. This match very important not only for Mikael, but for all young Swedish players and all Sweden, it could say a lot about Swedish tennis academy’s level and bring more people to play tennis.

Mikael Ymer – Youngster, who will be nextgen star for sure, still very young, but already proving he can play good at men’s tennis. This year almost 1,9m height player won Futures title and played very nice tennis one week ago in Bastad Challenger tournament. What we saw in him week ago? A desire, motivation and wonderful style of tennis. In his first match versus Spaniard I. Cervantes after loosing first set 1-6 and in second set trailing by 1-3 , he managed to turn around match and win it, similar situation happened in second match and he still managed to win. We can say for sure he is very tough opponent when playing at home courts with people cheering for him and brother by his side. What we can say about Ymer Mikael playing style? He is strong guy, very good serve fast and hard to reach, but of course he is still young in tennis and he can’t trust his serve sometimes he makes too much double faults in all situations. He is fast, not only young-fast, but he can run very well, reach all balls, a strong forehand and backhand with his ability to catch all balls helps him very well. These playing skills helped him so far to reach 42/19 clay so far and this year 13/8.

Henri Laaksonen – 25 years old player from Switzerland isn’t so famous and good player like Roger Federer and Stanislas Wawrinka, but he still can reach some heights like top50 if he wants to. Recently he became top100 player and now playing well for that ranking place, but what he need to improve to reach at least top50? First thing what we see when play on clay courts is – Slowness, swiss player is too slow on this court and his coordination is not so good, we saw it in Davis cup versus Andrea Seppi whom won this match because of experience and some good tactics like crossovers, different shots and Henri couldn’t know what to do, if he ran one way ball went different way, and no way he will catch fast balls. Second thing he have weakest backhand in Switzerland comparing to elite players like Stan. Henri uses two handed backhand, but its very weak and not aggressive, so stronger opponents uses it against him on clay courts. Let’s talk about good side of this player, 134/109 statistics on clay not so good but, this guy getting better every day, reaching top100 its normal thing if you train a lot and try to do best. Best thing in his play is forehand, very nice style of hitting balls, strong shot often hits ball near the baseline or every corner. 13/9 this season on clay, he also participated in Bastad challenger last week. We can say he getting enough fit for ATP250 tournaments, so in future we won’t see him often in challengers anymore.

Comparing the players : Of course its hard to compare youngster versus some older player, but biggest difference is return of serve from backhand, young Swedish player is better on this side, also have stronger serve, but Henri can serve well too. Almost same height players are very different, Elias is very fast and reads opponent well, on the other hand Henri have more experience for sure.

What to expect : Both players already played in Sweden challenger, so they both will be in good shape and ready for first round, but youngster at home is very dangerous. There will be no surprise if Ymer Elias will win today, he is motivated to show what he can and prove he is old enough for men tennis. We think match can be three setter with deciding set, maybe we will see TB on one of the set’s.

Ymer Elias - Fernando Verdasco match review

embeded-image

Match of the day in Sweden ATP Bastad 250 tournament : First round, but second day for Sweden ATP tournament in Bastad. Swedish are proud of this tournament and there are a lot of reasons why so. First tournament is very nice with all new stuff for good tournament like stream in all world, good quality courts and many fan on the side, who likes tennis. At the end of the day our match of the day will begin, in this fight we will see to different players with different style of playing. A home boy Ymer Elias will meet a very strong player from Spain Fernando Verdasco, who is one the most dangerous Spaniards in ATP tour. Let’s talk about the players and the match.

Ymer Elias – Just like his younger player will try to show some good tennis in this tournament, unfortunately Mikael lost in his match yesterday, but he was very close to win. Elias is good player, but something went wrong in his game and now he is 237 racket in ATP ranking. Younger Elias was very interesting player, everyone said he will be great player, but we still waiting for it to happen. 1,85m player have a good serve, fast backhand and he is very athletic, but we see sometimes he is very lazy on court and tries to finish rally too fast, he don’t have a lot patience in his game and that’s the biggest problem. 104/56 balance on clay shows us he can win a lot, but this year is only 9/9 not so fancy at all. 21 years old player mostly plays on clay, where patience is most important along with the strategy, maybe improving his game on other courts will help him in all kind of ways.

Fernando Verdasco – A wolf in the tennis with very dangerous forehand in his game, did you ever heard player hit 100 winners? It was F. Verdasco and his forehand. Very impressive player for sure, as we remember last year he reached a final here, so we expect him play well this year again. Spaniard is not only clay player like a lot of people thinks about spain players, he can play on all different surfaces, even on grass is very good and that a fastest surface of all. A good serve, strong body, powerful hits is game of Fernando, but all these things come along with one simple thing, who goes same for Swedish player, a patience both players don’t have it enough. Yes Spaniard is older and wiser, but still he make’s not the best decision in his game sometimes, always rushing and always trying to hit the hardest, in the end all these things are not always working for him. 259/153 clay court balance sound not bad.

Comparing the players : Spanish player have more experience, more titles, better game, everything goes in favor for Fernando. If we compare a serve, we will see Fernando hitting it harder and with more spin, but Swedish player doesn’t use that he just trying to hit is hard as he can, same goes for forehand they both hits very hard, but Spaniard uses more spin, so much the ball changes is trajectory.. You think it will be out? No problem for Fernando, ball spins so good it comes back to court. A lot of things will go in favor for F.Verdasco no surprise only one thing what can say about Swedish players his motivation and agility-younginess that can help him a lot, he plays at home so everyone will cheer for him.

What to expect today ? Well, its always hard to reach final every year, the first match is always hardest for title defender or finalist, especially when you play in first round versus home player who is young and have a lot of desire to win. Spanish player have more experience, but agility of the youngsters and different style of playing always makes it harder to show your experience and dominance. We can say it wont be very easy at first for Fernando Verdasco, but in the end he should manage to take a win in first round at Bastad 250 open tournament.

Dustin Brown - David Ferrer match preview

embeded-image

Game prieview : Welcome back to Bastad Sweden SkiStar tournament in 250 ATP series. Third day and we are already in R16 – what you get for being here? 8,230 € and 20 rating point‘s, after Wimbledon its looks not much, but its very good deal for this kind of tournament. Today our choice for one of the best matche‘s in this tournmanet was definetly a fight between David Ferrer and Dustin Brown, as we remember last year they made very good three sets match. This year we wait for good looking match too and we have a lot of reasons why it must happen.

David Ferrer – A elite player and doesn‘t matter that he went down in ranking, now he is only in 46 place. David is getting older, slower and it getting harder and harder to fight against youngsters whom are taller, faster and stronger. Of course we can talk either about his wonderful career or about this bad year he has, but one thing to say he still can play and win and this tournament is very good place for him thats for sure. Two time‘s winner, one time lost in final and three time‘s semifinalist here, in this tournament you we can see him almost every year. 373/164 Spaniard statistic on clay, very impressive and we know he was called second king on clay or prince on clay. Even Rafael Nadal can‘t win easily versus him, that says a lot. Sadly this year David have only 6/7 balance on clay and one win in this tournament versus F. Delbonis yesterday. What about his play ? – He uses same style of playing for years, he runs a lot, he likes long rallies, he have strategy to make his opponent running much and then hit last shot. Only 175cm guy doesn’t have great serve, he is struggling even here first serve in is under 50% that crazy bad. Things that left for him is his strategy, experience and knowing his opponent.

Dustin Brown – Unpredictable player, spectacular and wonderful in a lot of tennis way’s. It’s always nice to see him play in good mood, but not so much when he play’s without motivation. German player from Jamaica, with different styles of playing, he is even more spectacular than Gael Monfils we can say. 195cm who is 96 ranking place, player is tall, but comparing to Sam Querrey, Marin Čilič he is more flexible, more fast and can move very well, jumping, flying and hitting super serves. Let’s talk about serve – last year Dustin hit from the second serve 202km/h speed serve, that’s it very impressive. This year 3/8 result on clay doesn‘t look good, neither 242/170 career statistics look good, but we know he can play very well, he is talented, but unfortunetly he don’t show his talent often. Best parts of Dustin Brown game are his serve of course, its very dangerous gun in this battle, tactic when he uses serve and volley even on clay, dropshots, very fast forehand on return or slower points. Last year he showed he can play, so this year its all the same.

Comparing the players : Its simple to compare serve, Ferrer doesn’t serve well at this time, he have a lot of problems in his serve, unlikely like Brown who always trust his serve, and hits with more accuracy 61% first serve in, versus Ferrer 45%. And speed is different too. On rallies, we will see big difference in errors and winners for sure german player will hit more winners and errors(if unlucky), David Ferrer will hit few winners and just few errors, because he is very good on rallies, and he won’t make stupid mistakes. Strategy and experience on rallies goes in favour for Spanish player, but agility and speed which are key for today win, goes to Dustin Brown.

What to expect today : If last year there was a surprise to see Dustin play so well here, even versus David Ferrer, this year its will be surprise if Ferrer win with no struggles. We don’t say Ferrer can’t do it, but we see in his game something doesn’t go well If even we want to see him play well, its just not happening. So for this year our favorite is Dustin Brown, who is more well, plays faster game and much stronger physically. David experience and both players 2h2 can help David win one set that‘s for sure, but in the end we dont know if he will manage to take it down, Dustin have a lot of potential to win this match.

Dustin Brown - Istomin Denis (Gstaad)
Bet : Dustin Brown
Odds : 1,7 Pinnacle

Dustin is much more clayer type player, whom plays well and defends here a lot of points, so he need to win for sure... Denis is not a bad player, but on clay he never played well, i guess he will loose in this match.
