Former NBA referee Tim Donaghy surrendered Wednesday for his anticipated plea to gambling-related offenses, a person familiar with the probe told The Associated Press.
Donaghy surrendered early Wednesday for an appearance in Brooklyn federal court, the person, who was not authorized to speak publicly about the case, told the AP on condition of anonymity.
The charge to which Donaghy would plead was not immediately known.
NBA spokesman Tim Frank told the AP on Tuesday that the league was informed Donaghy would take a plea on Wednesday, but was given no further information.

Donaghy pleaded guilty to two counts on the indictment yesterday and faces up to 25 years in U.S. prison for conspiracy to engage in wire fraud and transmitting betting information through interstate commerce.

Some injuries are not tough enough to stop him
Even though Dirk Nowitzki is recovering from a high ankle sprain that typically sidelines athletes in all sports for several weeks; he had 32 points and 12 boards in 38 minutes in his last game!!
The fourth quarter was action packed and he just kicked some major @sss, the Dallas defense has improved a lot, and the things are bound to get better for them.

The Phoenix Suns had their chance to take a stand, to defend their home court, to justify their bold mid-season trade for Shaquille O'Neal, to show why this group and this system should continue.

The 2008 NBA Draft takes place this Thursday June 26th, 2008. The Chicago Bulls have the first overall pick and are expected to choose from Derrick Rose or Michael Beasley. Most NBA Insiders agree that the Bulls will choose the hometown player Rose.
