Several very popular online skill games sites offers both free games and for real cash. You can play at the comfort of your own home, games like mahjong, bejeweled 2, chess, snooker and many more. Some of these games also features tournaments where you can win real cash.

Oh and the weekend is coming closer, that's what I like.😄

I have played a few times for free and yet to play for cash. I think one needs to be skillful to play with cash so that you don't end up losing money.

I'd love to know what sites allow you to play these games for free and yet earn money. I think that I'd really enjoy doing this even though I'm sure that you don't win much and only win occassionally. Thanks!

I have often wondered why the game of chess never took off in terms of cash prizes? Lets face it it takes years for them to learn the game and the strategies to become successfull on the international arena, but I have never heard of any great prize money being awarded to the best of the best in tournements?

I have never known of big cash prizes, rather the sites tend to have comps between each other with only bragging rights at the end. A lot of sites do let you play chess against others or computer but I think that unless you have side bets then forget about making much.

Prize money is certainly nothing compared to other sports/ games. We only put money into the pot to make it interesting when we have small tournaments between friends.

I played chess in msn messenger yesterday. That was really great. You can play that at the same time when you are chatting. Try that.

Honestly, I have not played any games while IMing. Not that it's a bad idea, I just have never done that.

I used to love playing Qix. I've found one version on-line that is just like the originaldrunkmenworkhere-org/201-php?action=play, but was wondering if anyone knows of a program you can download or purchase.

I have never heard of it. What exactly is it? It sounds pretty bad, just from the name.

Does anyone on here play Crokinole? I recently found a board and men at a yard sale for $3! We have been playing it nonstop. We even have another couple that comes over to play with us... sad, I know, but it's great.

Maybe it's more luck than skill though. LOL
