Hello guess, a matchup bet (also known as a Head-to-Head) offers odds on the performance of two specific participants relative to each-other.

Hello popleli, an outright bet is on the winner of a competition, event or league rather than a component game or match. An example would be the outright winner of the French Open or UEFA Champions League.

Hello marchboy, a Teaser is similar to an Accumlator, the difference being that you can adjust the Handicap or Points Total in your favour to increase your chances of winning and the odds for the whole Teaser are fixed. Additional points are either added to the underdog or subtracted from the favourite when betting a Teaser.

I read at SBR, that Pinnacle are having a new BAD setting.

Customers getting logged out automatically after 15 min, when no action happened.

I have tried it and it really exist.

The value of the transfer window
Does a big money transfer guarantee improved results?

The frenzy of the transfer window is now part and parcel of the Premier League package, but can bettors capitalise on transfer market movement? Our soccer expert, Mark Taylor, looks into the season-long importance of new arrivals and departures.
With the rigmarole of pre-season almost out of the way, it can only mean one thing, the Premier League, complete with all its enthralling twists and turns, is almost upon us.

Also in full swing are the transfer dealings, prior to the teams finalising their 25 man squads, a requirement that was introduced to the Premier League at the beginning of the 2010/11 season.

The English summer transfer window opened on 1st July and remains open for business until the 1st of September. In the first month of the window alone, over 80 incoming deals have been completed, ranging from free transfers and loans, to tens of millions of pounds.

In a bid for Premier League survival in their debut season, newly promoted Bournemouth have been amongst the most active in the number of new arrivals, but, inevitably, it is the title contending teams whose transactions have drawn the most media attention.

Top of the shop

Arsenal’s single deal to date has seen Petr Cech make the short trip from title rivals, Chelsea. The transaction should be a good one for both club and player. Arsenal have struggled to acquire a top class keeper since Jens Lehmann, and Cech, despite being 33, is still potentially around the peak age for his position and will be guaranteed regular starts.

Forwards, though, remain the stars of the transfer window. In a typical season, the average cost of a forward is upwards of three times that of a goalkeeper or defender.

Raheem Sterling’s reported £49 million move to Manchester City dwarfs the £10 million paid by Arsenal for Cech, who has widely been regarded as one of the most influential Premier League players of recent time.

The primary aim of an expensive purchase is, of course, to improve a side. Given the strong correlation between points won and wage bill or worth of a squad, it would seem logical that an increase or decrease in the value of a squad would invariably go hand in hand with a similar increase or decline in league points gained.

The initial consideration is the net gain or loss of value over the course of the window. High profile moves, such as Sterling’s to City make the headlines, but, as in the case of another Liverpool departure, Luis Suarez, the money is often then used to buy replacements at the selling club.

Luis Suarez’s reported £75 million departure to Barcelona made up the bulk of Liverpool’s outgoing transfers in the 2014/15 summer window. But they then bought in over £100 million of new talent across all positions; with the intention to improve the strength of the side overall, if not to fully replace the Uruguayan’s exceptional goal and assist contribution.

A raft of departures may also be detrimental to the fortunes of a side, beyond their monetary value to the club, especially in an area such as defence, where familiarity and organisation is often as important as raw talent.

Next, the fee paid for a player may reflect potential as well as immediate contribution. Cech is around the peak age for keepers, so Arsenal has acquired experienced talent, but with little upside.

While Sterling, at 20, is a long way from the peak age for forwards, around 28, and can potentially contribute and possibly improve for Manchester City over the next decade. City have paid a premium for that potential compared to a similarly talented older player.

A part of the reason Manchester City were willing to spend on Sterling and to a lesser degree 25 year-old Fabian Delph may have been the age profile of their squad, that was predominately in their late 20’s and early 30’s, the oldest of the main title challenging sides.

Deals can be made to address future concerns, as well as present aspirations.

Pressure on the price tag

All transfers are made with the highest of hopes, but success is not always guaranteed by a high price tag, while more modest purchases may pleasantly surprise.

A player may take time to adapt to a different league or may have been purchased on one exceptional season that may not have been typical of his core abilities.

£16 million Mario Balotelli’s failure to convert virtually any of the chances he was presented with in 2014/15 at Liverpool, did little to fill the void left by Sturridge’s injury and Suarez’s departure.

The contrasting and changing fortunes of Fellaini and Di Maria at Manchester United also highlight the variation in returns over a single season from even the highest of profile purchases.

In contrast, Diego Costa provided Chelsea with added firepower from week one and eased Mourinho’s side to relatively comfortable title win, before injuries became a reoccurring concern.

Lastly, the natural variation and streaks that may occur in a relatively short season of 38 games can move a side’s final points total away from their most likely average.

Therefore, with all these factors contributing to a side attempting to incorporate new signings at the expense of former regulars, it may not now be too surprising to find that an increase or decrease in squad value does not move stepwise with an increase or decrease in performance.

Can you extract betting value from the transfer window?

Although squad value is still a fine indicator of the likely performance over the campaign, a side that has increased the value of their squad, in real terms, may not see an immediate increase in returns because of all the other conflicting factors and randomness inherent in calculating the odds to win the Premier League title.

Yes miller3, this is pinnacle darts betting rules:

1. When betting on the outright tournament winner, all wagers have action; there are no refunds. Should a player withdraw before a tournament begins, any bets on that player to win the tournament will be graded as losses.

2. Match Wagers: The player progressing to the next round will be deemed the winner, providing one of the players has thrown a dart at the start of the first leg. If the first dart is not thrown, all bets will be void.

3. Sets Wagers: The full number of sets required to win the match must be completed. If for any reason the match is awarded to a contestant before the full number of sets are completed, all Sets wagers on the match will be void.
